What Inspires Us
Geet Travel is inspired by the people, cultures, traditions, and ways of life that have shaped the Indian Subcontinent through thousands of years.
We believe the true essence of a destination is found not only in its landscapes or monuments, but in the communities that have preserved its heritage across generations. Their stories, customs, spirituality, craftsmanship, and everyday lives form the living identity of a place.

What is a Geet?
In Nepali, Geet means song. Just as a folk song reflects the spirit, history, and lasting expression of the people who create it, we believe travel should be much the same.
Every destination has its own Geet—a unique rhythm shaped by its languages, festivals, landscapes, crafts, and traditions. Our journeys are designed to help you discover these rhythms at a slower pace, fostering a deeper understanding of the places you visit.

The Sarangi in Our Logo
The instrument beside our logo is the Sarangi, one of Nepal's most treasured traditional folk instruments.
For centuries, the Sarangi has been closely associated with the Gandharva community—travelling musicians and storytellers who journeyed from village to village, carrying history, folklore, songs, and local traditions through music and oral storytelling. Long before modern media, they were the messengers of their time, connecting communities across Nepal.
Despite the invaluable role they played in preserving cultural memory, the Gandharva community endured generations of discrimination, exclusion, and economic hardship, yet they guarded this heritage. Today, as lifestyles evolve, fewer people continue the art of crafting and playing the Sarangi.
To us, the Sarangi represents the countless traditions, stories, and ways of life that define Nepal, India, Bhutan, and Tibet—heritage that deserves continued preservation. It reflects our commitment to celebrating the communities who keep these traditions alive.
